Not corn syrup but I once had something that resembled mud pouring out of a previously attempted partial rapair I thought I could improve on.
Called a friend of mine in the Dallas area. He told me they caught a guy putting 3in1 oil in damaged areas followed by of course super glue.
Corn syrup?
