Corn syrup?

Corn syrup?

Heard about some roadside traveling goon that was supposedly injecting chips with clear corn syrup. Anyone heard of such a devios thing?

Until maybe twenty-five or so years ago a common practice for used car dealers' detail departments was to drip a drop or two of mineral or baby oil on a chip to make it less visible. If the glass was warm enough the oil would wick into the damage and disguise it for awhile. Guaranteed until the papers are signed and the car is out of sight of the car lot.

Now your really showing your age! Your right though. many used car dealers back then used those methods. Not sure if they use them today but you never know.

I don't think curing was an issue. He was apparently just getting their money and running down the road.

Yeah,it makes for good small talk but really... but who tested,tasted??

Yeah I read it in the enquirer! The guy also was caught doing brain surgery part time.
