New guy & a question

First of all, hello all! New to the forum and somewhat new to wsr. I've done some windshield replacements before during auto restorations. Been in the auto appearance/restoration business for about 15 years but not full repair.....until now! I decided to take a break from restoration for awhile and try a new venture so I found a used Kleer-Vu kit that uses the mightyvac and this is where I'm at....

......So far, this forum has answered many questions I've had with some searching. However, I cannot seem to find the big question I have..as mentioned, I found and bought an old wr kit. Everything was there except resin! Had I realized no resin, I likely would have not purchased said kit,,, anyway, to my question(s):
Is it necessary to use a thicker resin when doing a bullseye as opposes to a "regular" star break or short crack? Or is there a general purpose resin I can use?

2nd question: I've kinda found the answer this one but want to be clear..Can I use a regular auto polish for pit polishing? I have several types of polish & rubbing compounds in the garage leftover from the shop...

I use Delta Magnibond for everything from bullseye to 18 inch cracks, I do not have any problems.

Pit polish well a bottle last em about $40,000 worth of repair and costs a pittance, I would say best to buy the right stuff. Some car polishes contain chemicals that do not get on with pit fill, as we have found in testing.

Use a polish that is for plastics and polymers. Novus #2 with red label is a good one and there are many others.
