HMRC is the Revenue and Customs or Tax office as it used to be. You do not have to be registered or bonded, although as I said the Public Liability is a must, along with a motor traders insurance policy, which I for got on my first post, sorry about that.

The insurance market is limited, far more so than over there, in fact I have not billed an insurance company for over 6 years.

Personally we were not affected by the flooding, however Boston which is 26 miles away and a town I do a lot of work in was definitely hit, I am going there today to find out by how much, as far as I have managed to find out none of my customers have been damaged, but it will affect their businesses in other ways.

Peter, I went to Boston yesterday and they have made such a good job of the clear up that from outside of the building you could not see anything had happened, inside was maybe a bit different. Not one of my customers have been affected, which was lucky for them as it was close at times.

Mine comes to £1300 per year, they are a combined package in my case. You could shop around and save a few pounds, but for quality you pay the price.
