Pictures of a bad chip from today

I know these picures are not the best but I would like to show you guys this repair.I think it looks great considering what it look like to start with.I used delta bridge and injector and of course magna bond.

Looks like it turned out good to me. You won't get the chip disapear 100%. Looks fine.

Good repair, just a little more attention needed with making sure your pitfill is free of bubbles though.

I like doing chips like that.
They look like they might be hard to fill, but actually they are quite easy.

would it be possible (if you wanted to) to drill out the bubble and re-cure it with new resin?

just in case the customer wasnt satisfied..

Often a pit bubble is on the surface, it comes from not being quite careful enough and close inspecting the pit fill as you roll the tab on. Sometime just placing a small bit of resin in the bubble and curing will improve the matter.

To be honest that repairs was 100% sellable.

My suggestion is:

Before you put pit filler on the repaired area to finish the repair, do remember to turn the injector aside first and use a flashlight to check if the break has been fully filled by the repair resin, if there's no air bubble inside the break. If not, just turn the injector back again to repeat pressure and vaccum cycle, just a bit more patience make a perfect repair.

The other thing is the recommendation from Mr. Brent: Before using the pit filler, turn the bottle upside down and place for about 5 minutes, the bubble will not appear when you squeeze out the pit resin.

I normally apply the pitfill resin just above the pit and let gravity allow the resin to flow into the pit. Should any bubbles appear, they can be teased out before applying the mylar tab. I normally use the mylar tab, to do the teasing, but a pin would probably do the same job.
