Vehicle Lettering

Go for the standard Geo Metro that the Novus guys have been using for years around here. That's like the official vehicle of WSR.

Maybe you could upgrade to something modern like the Toyota Prius hybrid and get 60mpg. That really would be a good vehicle. Every time I am at the gas pump I wish I was driving one of those.

I do believe that my "boss" (aka the person fortunate enough to be able to call me her husband) has plans of her own.....

She's "in love" with her fully loaded, 2001 Black Monte Carlo SS. While she liked riding in the dually, she didn't like driving it as she is quite petite and the dually was a bit too much for her to handle with the 6 speed stick and large footprint.

Ergo, I would be "allowed" to either buy her a convertible BMW Roadster and can have her MC and apply graphics as desired to the MC. Or, I can buy a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, letter the spare tire cover and she "may" agree to allow me to "slam wrap" the MC.

Anybody interested in some really slick vinyl graphics may want to checkout http://www.speedgraphics.net . I bet they could design a slam tear that shows a damaged windshield;)

Since I "hate" to spend money on something that doesn't provide me with an excellent ROI, I might as well resign myself to the cheaper (Jeep) option.

Funny, but the Rubicon's gas mileage is nearly as bad as the dually's was!

OK, I just applied lettering to the back glass and purchase 2 door magnets. It all cost me $50. I did it Wed night. (I do WSR part time right now). Thursday while I was at work a (Transportation Director for School) a salesman comes in and says, Hey are you doing WSR and I said yes, part time. He then says well I got this chip in my glass, think you can fix it. Long story short, I made $50.00 for the repair and it paid for the signs.

My wife is going to let me install some lettering on the 2 back side glasses of her Mini Cooper S, since way more people look at that.

I will be sending pics to Jeff to post for me.

nwglasspros, I think you'd be better off starting with simple lettering and magnetic signs for $50. That would pay for itself alot sooner. Then you could spend the extra money on quality equipment and maybe a customized tent.

That's my 5 cents worth (2 cents plus tax )

You know, it does have it's good points too...

You would definately be recognized in your community, and people will look at your van... basically, you'll have a rolling billboard.

How long have you calculated that it will take to become profitable?

I do have the magnetic signs. I haven't really calculated how profitable it would be to have the extra advertising. Thats the only resource so far that i've received a price quote from. There might be some cheaper ones out there.

I believe its warranteed for around 3 years or so.

I have a friend that spends 2k/month in advertising for her real estate stuff. (ads, magazines, etc)

Anyways i'll try and get some more price quotes and let ya'll know!

Yes it the tax write-off if you can justify the money that you spent on it. Are you can look at it taking only 72 Windshield repair as to make your money back. Now do not get me wrong how I would love to do that to my vehicle.
