Repairs are only temporary

Post by Dave M »

According to a S@#^li*e repair tech quote on my local "Yelp" reviews for that company "Windshield repairs are only temporary, you should have your glass replaced. It's like putting a band-aid on a cut." This particular location had numerous bad reviews. I feel soo bad!

Over here I have to dry out 99% of damages prior to repairing, the major companies like the one mentioned do not in most cases have any equipment in thier kit to do this, neither do the techs know what water is it seems.

So I would say a conrepair rather than a temporary one, see the new word slipped in there to describe a non repair.

I would argue windshield replacements are temporary too until the next chip or crack.
