I am just wondering if anyone out there saw the article on Glas bytes this week regarding the above were Jiffy Lube ie May be charging Insurance Company for a SURFACE CHIPS ???? I think that the Insurance company should check on JIFFY LUBE before they make a payment----- Is this bringing the windshield chip repair industry down to a lower level and will the consumer be able trust a Windshield repair chip company to make the right call
I know our industry has a few that take advantage. I do know that several franchise groups of Jiffy Lube have received full pro training use top of the line equipment and work with ACT but like anybody be it a carwash group or a old seasoned pro some folks let greed turn them. Just life not a statement on any one group. as a side note I got called to do a repair for Allstate to find there were 3 surface chips only called and was told by the insurance company to fix them and process as usual. guess it depends on the person on the other end of the phone?
