Not me. I would like to process invoices via ipad/Omega EDI but as the big Welshman stated it's just not cost effective now. I think when it was presented to me it was $3/invoice. Guessing about 90% of my invoices can be submitted free EDI.

Im new guys. So.....

It cost $2.50 per invoice to get paid from the insurance companies? But different companies charge different right? Can you do it yourself? Is Omega a company that helps you get paid?

By chance is there any other Smart Phone application out there?

I just ran across this Omega today and was reading about it thinking 'Sweet, but let me look at the pric...Oh I dont think so..ing details'.

Coughing up 3 bucks a job if you do less than 100 a month is a bit steep for my blood (even though I'm still working up the numbers now).

If there was an app with a similar setup to omega's but on a monthly fee of $50 I would be all over it. Imagine getting the customer to sign using an iPad, and a copy is sent to all 3 parties(you, customer, insurance) and then the customer information would be automatically input into some type of contact management system. I would use it in a heartbeat!

Until I can pay to have someone to do the data entry, Omega does the job and gives me more free time.
Also think its a great program for new people in this business providing them all the phone numbers and paperwork.

What is the time difference between doing it your self and using an agency? If it takes longer DIY could that time be spent growing your business, I never bill an insurance company and have not for a very long time, so I do not know the answers.

Percentage wise we have a great business model here, many other trades would love our margins to work with.
