Can anybody out there tell me the cost of an average windshield the labour costs and how much does a Insurance company pay the Glass shop for the replacement for the Insured vehicle???

Depends over here if you are a recommended supplier or not, they often have a maximum payout of only £100 for non recommended this is total not just labor, as you can imagine on something expensive the job is not worth touching.

I hear of guys making $30 on drop glasses and only a little more on some windshields from the companies that will pay them.
