If you have not cleaned your injector for 6 months then I would question the quality of your repairs, any resin left in after each repair will absorb all sorts of contaminants from the atmosphere. Nothing clever in my opinion about not looking after your tools.

So is the blue plastic injector more complicated? does it have more than one seal?

OK Screenman, wanna fight ;) Just joking,Can you back up your statement with facts? atmosphere??? does that not exist in your bottle of resin??
Bring it on :)

The biggest problem I have with the MVP360 is the resin 'disappears' in the plunger. I have to constantly prime it in order for the resin to come out. Does all injectors have this problem? I'll have at least eight drops of resin in it and when I go to pressure stage no pressure builds up.

These injectors do not build lot of pressure, they can pull a little more vac if you do it right. I did call them when mine was not working under pressure and they did say it was the seal at the glass... Pullout the seal and slide the inner injector inside it, if it is a snug fit it is good, if it seams to loose, the seal is old or no good... They did say they had a bad batch or two or three. Call them and ask them to send you replacements if they are loose fitting.....

Hope this helps.

Thanks Chippen,
They are going to send a new one as I tightened the inner seal of the plunger to no avail. Hopefully when I get my new one it won't have the problems I have had. It's adding ten minutes to every job because I'm having to prime it so many times.
