AAA Windshield Repair/Replacement
I was doing some website research friday and a listing for AAA auto Club was now providing WSR for their members and non-members. I was quoted $75 if I was a member to repair a 1/4 inch bullseye. Then the lady stated after I provided my zip code that they had no one near me or mobile to make that repair. I contacted Human Resources for AAA and was provided a number to the person that handles WSR. I left my name and number for the person to call me. Are there any forum members or visitors of this site contracted with AAA or know about this new service they are providing. The website states road side repairs / replacements provided. The price quoted for a replacement as a member was competitive.

Re: AAA Windshield Repair/Replacement
Sounds like a very interesting proposition, I am a AAA member, and have never used all the service calls they allow in a year, so WSR would be a good use of a membership. Could you share the contact info (in a PM if you prefer) as to where to sign up to be a service provider for them.

I wonder if they prefer you to be a AAA member to be a service provider

Re: AAA Windshield Repair/Replacement
I am still waiting for The man that handles the WSR/Replacement section for AAA to call me back. I just left him another message. Call 800-222-4357 and ask for the person that handles that for your state . The operator will send you to their voice mail. I understand AAA members get a discount and a special # to call. I saw a message that they train their Techs and have higher standards than any glass replacement agency. I will pm you both as soon as I get a response and learn more. I do know they only have a dozen or so places within NC. The computer message states we cover the Carolinas. When the operator gets your zip code, you will learn very quickly that they have a limited service area , which conflicks with the computer information or information provided to their members. They state they handle all insurance claims. TTYL as soon as I know something.

Sounds like they are steering you to Safelite for repairs. Safelite is the TPA for AAA glass claims. Did you check to see if you had any Safelite locations operating within 10-15 miles from your zip code? I could be wrong but I would check that out.candyman wrote:I was doing some website research friday and a listing for AAA auto Club was now providing WSR for their members and non-members. Re: AAA Windshield Repair/Replacement
There are no safelite within 35 miles. They do service this area and I do jobs for them as well. However thats not how they promoted it on their site. They said they train their own people. I oly saw a half dozen shops listeed for this state. I still havent got a call back, and Human resources connected me to the manages voice mail.
