Drill bit

I first encountered the wsr biz working for a ford dealer in 1984.
Later in 87 I worked for a co. called flying colors, and used to work side by side with wsr guys, while touching up cars.
I knew it was a profitable biz but did other things in the car world til 1994 including mechanical, auto body, paint, sales, shop managment, etc.
In feb 1995 I was offered a job with a co. called glas-fil, because the man needed help but did not want to have to train someone for long on wsr, an old boss told him I had done mobile paint and was the best he had seen at it, and the guy was wanting to get into that too.
In retrospect I realize that he was using me to expand his biz. but thats ok, he was a nice guy.
Well along with running his new paint biz. I had to do repairs and replacement as well, and the replacement aspect just destroyed my already bad mechanics knees.
So I told the boss that the other guys could do replacements, I could no longer...that was the end of that.
In 1999 I went to work for a Pharmaceutical co. and learnd how to confidently spell pharmaceutical.
My wife and I got 33 acres of mountain land overlooking western MD. WV. and PA. and I started building the house in oct 2001 I am almost done with the house (got fired by the pharmaceutical co. on dec 23 2001 by a new and incompetant manager who I told such to) and now I have been looking for a job for 6 months.
I have been told by at least 10 different people now that I am overqualified to be anything but management and "were not hiring managers".
So recently a friend told me to wake up and smell the roses, Until recently I have never had to apply for a job because they were always offered to me, so he says if other people see such evident talent why not use it for myself for once.
Kind of pathetic that it took me to 40 to have a 30 year old make me see that huh.
Anyway, with as little capital as I have I just decided to sell off an investment and start up on my own in this, I will miss that machine gun, but I bet I can buy another like it in the near future.
Kind of long wided and, I hope, not to self promotive.
I will be getting reciept books printed this week hopefully, then I'm off on a new adventure.
