Yea, dont waste your money. You can do it with out spending that much money.I am not saying thay are not good people . I have actually had to run them away from some of my accounts.I have to talk to them and they seem like good people. With them or with out them it is still up to you to make it.Dont get caught up in their bells and whistle repair equipment.Delta is the BEST out there.

Bill would you be willing to talk to me sometime if I sent you my number? Im racking my brain trying to figure out the best way to brake into this business, while trying to not be led by people trying to sell me something. I actually experience in repairing but need to know more about the paperwork end of it all. Thanks for your reply!

Brennan29,

Superglass is not your solution. They already have 13 locations in your area...do you really want to be the 14th?

Well Brennan29.....why not contacting the people in Orlando FL?
Why would you be asking your questions here instead of talking to the right person(s)?
Why not going direct, contact the source, just call the corporate office.
Just call Dave, he is a nice guy and will be helpfull telling you anything you need to know.

I have been involved in a few franchise-networks and I am a firm believer of coop formats.
It may go against any ''American dream'' (whatever that may be... -and worth in this economy) but I can tell you one thing:
It is always good to benefit from services provided by professional corporate people and fellow techs. Much better than any forum can offer.

Oh, 13 licensees in the great state of PA is the closest thing to nothing, zero, nil.
Believe me: in the state of PA alone there is (easily) place for at least 40 licensed Superglass areas.
The more people operating in such a network, the more power to that network and the individuals.
But some will always be dreaming their American dream and be certain not to need any support. That's fine, this is a free world.

If I were you, and if I were eager for information, I would be using my phone right now.
Superglass can be found by using the domain sgwr (com)
Good luck.

Guys,
Before the SuperGlass bashing gets too bad I would like to comment. And Frank, thank you for your kind words, I very much appreciate it and wish you the best in business.

First of all, our company, which is partly made up of myself, my 20 year business partner, two daughters, one nephew and the son of an old high school friend, works very hard for our Franchisees. We spend a week here training and another week in the franchise area establishing commercial accounts for them. We continue our marketing support for the life of the franchise. We actually do care about them as people.

We don’t “try” to sell anybody a franchise. If you ask Brennan you’ll find that I actually recommended Delta Kits to him if that would fit his goals better.

Our Franchisee in Bucks County, near Brennan, does over $100K in sales a year. So does our Chester County Franchisee, also near Brennan. If these posters are going to help Brennan make that, by all means he should hook up with them, it would save him $4K a year in royalties.

To date, we have had 28 Franchisees exceed $1 Million in sales, 8 have exceeded $2 Million and 1 has exceeded $3 Million, so we are not a scam and no one should point fingers at us without knowing who we really are.

We make our own resin and our own equipment and we spare no expense in our quest for the best quality repair. We’ve been here for 20 years, we contribute time and money to the NWRA and we are repair-only. There’s no reason to bash SuperGlass just because you use another system.

Thanks in advance for your consideration. – David Casey – President, SuperGlass Windshield Repair, Inc.

Dave,

Sorry I didn't chime in earlier. This topic was started after I left last night and I had a Bible Study this morning so I had not seen it until now. Like you, I feel that franchises are a good fit for some and not so good for others. I have a great deal of respect for you and your company, and bashing anyone is against forum guidelines, so if you ever feel like your company is under attack here please let me know.

We try not to censor topics unless absolutely necessary so I'm glad you took the time to post your thoughts. I'll remove the entire topic at your request, but I think your post as well as Frank's post bring balance to the topic that should give the originator food for thought. Hopefully other franchisees will provide additional insight.

Just let me know if you want me to stop or remove this topic.
