I do not think I am so concerned what a clients deductible is...it is what it is...if he has lets say two chips,Windshield911 wrote:also, your comment from the first page that I won't roll along just fine. 95% of my customers have State Farm. There's a State Farm on every corner here. Most of my business is paid by cash not insurance money although I do accept it when I can. I was just griping about the 50.00 deductible b/c I haven't seen that yet. If everyone started having 50.00 deductibles it would be hard to talk people into repairs. People with 100 or up are pretty willing to go ahead and get the repair rather than replace it. The question was answered pretty early that 50.00 deductibles is not all that common. I was just making sure b/c they said they had a pretty good rate. The part of my post about sign on my truck was just useless comment I threw in there, it wasn't meant to start a whole debate.
and his ins is only willing to pay $50 because that is his deductible, then I think that I would be ok with that...
however, I am concerned what i keep hearing about major ins carriers such as Allstate/Statefarm jumping
ship from lynx, going to safelite, i guess great for those that use safelite as their ins processor, but not so
good for those that may use lynx (which I maybe one of them) Why would a ins carrier want to leave one
to go to another? Why cant ins carriers go with all major ins processors? would it not benefit the carrier
to make their service available to all ins processors? It surely would not look good on me if I use lynx
then I have to explain to my client/customer that I am unable to accept their major ins carrier (state farm) or other...
