Thanks for putting up the picture, it looks a good example of some of the poor repairs I see over here every day.
I don't think people here actually do repairs like that - we might be getting a little off-track here.

The OP said that he saw black in almost a 3rd of the bullseye, more than once, with a tester screen and no contamination.

This is the only black I think it could be...

(For the record, that pic was off the net - just some guys website. The rain here is so bad, I've been in all week and i wanted to put a pic up of the "black")

Believe me, plenty of people do jobs like that. Like you we have had rain for a long time, lucky for me it does not stop me working it is a matter of having the correct mix of customers.

I am sorry to say that if the OP ended up with air left in a simple bullseye then maybe a bit more basic training is needed, specific to the equipment he is attempting to use.

I came into this post when somebody said water looks black, of course we all or most of us know that is not how it shows in a break at all.

Just out of interest I seemed to have missed your intro Pommy, would you be good enough to point it out to me.
