I Also use stoners, it's just a bit too expensive depending on where you get it though.

Before I repair the chip I use a razor blade to clean the area where the bridge's suction cup will be placed, I do this so the chip is'nt contaminated with glass cleaner. I like chipfix's idea of using washer fluid, that's thinking outside the box. Thanks for the tip

Use a non-ammonia auto glass cleaner. Also clean your wiper blades as well for its better usage and longevity.
