A foot note to clarify my use of the uv blocker umberella. It does help because that is what it is designd to do, however I really like it for my personal comfort for blocking the suns heat which also helps cool the glass, also worth mentioning is I use also either the Delta uv shield or the G/W red sheets (old 2'x2') cut into four 1x1s making two 1x1s of two layers. Very necessary to block the rays.
Screenman we certainly value your input on any technique and your expierance. Would love to come to The UK and meet you and learn.

My number 1 accessory to have is a job. It takes most of the pressure off when you start out. Your business will be slow in the beginning. WSR is a side business for me. All of my income from wsr is disposable. My number 1 form of advertisement is word of mouth. I've got a pretty good customer base but it has taken several years to build. Pretty much any advertisement i've done was a waste of money. So, I would suggest to everyone starting out not to quit your job until you need to. Also, my next favorite accessory is the spring hammer. Don't know how I got along without it! I also keep a small battery operated light with me. I do a lot of my repairs at night, where i'm at it's 110 degrees right now. At night I dont have to deal with the heat or uv rays. Good luck!
