usmc68. No need to dig about air time, just trying to give a little knowledge to those without experience. Remarks like that tend to make one ask why they bother.

Let me correct you on that screenman....I did not say I did not know that UV did not exist in the shade, what I did say is I was on one side of a building which was two stories tall, and the sun was not even present in the area and it was daylight. I said I did not think it would affect the flow of resin or to make it prematurely cure. Let's keep it real ok. No need for ridicule. And what I said is when trained with Novus, they never had me use UV protection. Ever. That is how they trained me! You are always on here preaching training, training and more training. Well I was trained by Novus and this is how I was trained. So maybe training, training , training is not all that huh? You have a tendency to always like to knock people down, My Lordship of WSR......

Did not know UV existed in the shade or your explanation, seems the same to me. I also pointed out I was trained by Novus and they banged UV protection into me, I have since experimented to discover more about where and how UV can affect us. Lets face it most people after a training session forget a lot of what was taught, as we can see on the forum.

Yes I bang on about training, I am passionate about my trade and want everybody else to do quality repairs that will get us a good name and keep it, where is the problem in that. This trade is full to the brim with untrained, unskilled and uncaring bodgers.

I earn nothing for being on here, I do however get a good income from WSR and would like to carry on sharing over 23 years of knowledge.

Just another thought on the umbrella, if possible it may be better and cause less stress to the windshield if it was attached to the side glass when possible.

Well Screenman, you sell Delta Kits products and recommend products that you sell, also you have made it clear that you provide training through this forum.
So I have to disagree with the "I earn nothing for being on here" part of your statement.

To the best of my knowledge nobody has come to me for training from this forum, also have a look there are very few UK guys here and some of those that are here are on because I asked them too join after training.

If the forum was a source of income we would certainly be a hungry family not enjoying the lifestyle that we have, that is for sure.

Come on guys, lighten up............
Ok, I am from the UK and got my kit and training from Screenman, but as he said, I did not join this forum until after then.
And, the number of times and the amount of time Screenman gives me help far outweighs what he earned from me. I have only ever paid for the kit, yes it included training, but he ALWAYS has time to speak to me, even when I occasionally call up with what turns out to be sometimes 'dumb' questions.
As we all know, there is so much more to WSR than most people realise, I've been in the industry [repair and replace] since the early eighties and have learnt 90% of what I now know about WSR in the last 3 months thanks to Screenman and this forum [in that order].
