I personally would chalk this one up as a learning experience. JMO
Yeah they wernt.. he was a very OCD guy and he had just got done taking his truck mudding and it was still coverd in mud when I did the repair(not the windshield just the truck) And when I called back he told me he had cleaned his truck and found 2 scratched in his hood right near where I was.. which I am absolutly positive I did not bc I make sure I dnt toutch anything but the windshield and make sure to not wear anything that would scratch.. So i am positive he got it while mudding.. So he wouldnt help me out at all.. His wife even called me back to appoligize and said that she knows it wasnt my fault and to not mind him that he is extreamly OCD.... and yeah thats why I havent gone and stalked him out bc I figured I would mis a repair or two while tryin to investigate this guy.. thank you all.. ANYOTHER IDEAS!?!?!?!?
Tried that.. She says she would but she doesnt want to cause anymore problems with her husband.. lol. I am about too try to call Alfa directly ad see if I can't get them to give me his agents name..
maybe the wife will pay you cash. My gut instinct is your gonna have to eat this one. I had a guy write me a check on business account and then declared bankruptcy. Check with State Department of Revenue if you can write it off as bad debt. I doubt insurance company can give you agents number. Forgive and forget...next customer please.
Did you do the repair through the insurance network?............. If so you will be on the dispatch and the most insurance agents with the insurance company can see you are the glass shop dispatched to do the job and should give you the VIN. Just tell them you had a brain fart and forgot as you were talking with the customer.
I have done this a few times or miss read the Vin and they helped correct the numbers as I read it to them...
You need to get a good PR with the local agents if you do not already.
Thank you to everone who posted.. Ended up getting company to give me agents name and number and tehn contacted the agent and she read it right off tome lol she didnt even ask me who I was until the end of the call.. she was like "Oh yeah I guess i am suppose to ask what your name is".. lol super easy.. Thank you to all.... and yeah if anyone else ever has any problems instead of tryin to get the info from the glass department if you call the company directly you can usualy get the info that you need.. Thank You again..
