FREE referral site for windshield repair technicians!

We won't begin marketing it in earnest until we have windshield repair technicians listed in every state and hopefully in every major city. Nothing worse that searching for someone to provide a service, finding a site that is supposed to have listings for vendors in your area, and then finding out that there are none even close to you. In fact, that is one of the reasons we built the site. Similar sites are charging for for their listings but consumers can't find what they are looking for so they don't use the site. We hope that by providing a free service for vendors and customers, that we can provide a customer experience not found on other sites, which in turn will provide more qualified referrals for vendors with listings on the site.

We have ways of getting the site in front of the consumer, but it would be foolish to provide that information here. The proof will be in the popularity of the site, but as I said from the beginning, it will take awhile to implement the 2nd and 3rd stages of our plan for the site.

Do you have at least one vender from every state on the forum?
One thing I do not like on some of the other repair search providers is shops saying they service area's that they do not.... As in the whole state.... For them lets be realistic. If you do not service the city or town then do not list it. We all have ghost shops or shops saying they sevice the whole state them. That is faults also... A 3 hr drive just to do on or two repairs,,,, no profit there to me..

I have no idea if we have a vendor from every state on the forum and I don't know what that has to do with windshieldreferral.com, but don't judge our sites by what is done on competitor sites. We built windshieldreferral.com because of the same concerns you are voicing about other sites, just as we built this forum because of the way other forums were being run. You've made it quite clear that you don't like how we run this forum, but the fact remains that it is by far the most popular windshield repair forum on the Internet. Now how about giving us a chance to do the same with windshieldreferral.com? We've only had it up for a few days.

I and we are just wondering when you will be running your site full blown... If You do not get a shop in every State then we may end up waiting for a while. That is why I asked how many Venders (wrong wording) "Techs" on the forum.

I feel this is Delta's site and should be for Delta users, as was your original intent, I think. Promote their businesses, not their competitors! Don't let the other guys run your business. Your faith is being used by them, in my opinion.
Let them use and participitate in your main site, of course! Don't let them guide you in this new one.
BTW, in over 20 years I've been asked about certifications once, so much for meaning anything,but it does look good on a business card. What percentage have ever failed any vendor test after they bought a kit from any vendor?

Thank you. We have had several people report registration problems, but expect to have a handle on it very soon. I'm sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Danny told me tonight that he thinks we have nearly all the bugs worked out so now we can start working on things to enhance the user experience. Many of you have e-mailed some great feedback that is very helpful.

We have had a small percentage of people fail our certification exam, but obviously we work very hard to make sure every participant learns what they need to know by the time they take the exam. Your right though, very few consumers care whether a windshield repair technician is certified or not.
