Re: Why choose Delta?
A lot of companies use Delta Kits Equipment in their sale pitch. That they are using Delta Kits as the benchmark for comparison should tell you all you need to know.
All equipment manufacturers want to sell you their equipment. What makes Delta Kits so unique in my opinion (aside from quality equipment) is the customer service and support network that goes hand and hand with sales. There aren't many companies (like Delta Kits) who will tell you to call them if you are experiencing a problem with a repair, so they can walk you through it. Its easy to see that the staff at Delta Kits is keenly aware that our success as technicians is tied to their sales. Simply put, If we do well, they do well. You can always find a cheaper product but you can't pay enough for this kind of support.

Re: Why choose Delta?
You know being a mechanic for over twenty years you realize tools are your life line. That does not mean if you buy quality tools you will do professional repairs though. The tools are only as good as the person using them so I suggest when you decide on tools do not just consider the tools, look at the training, supplies, company history etc. To some extent you will build your reputation around there tools and supplies. Buying the most expensive tools does not always equal better quality tools and likewise with the cheapest tools does not always equal low quality tools. I believe that most tools in the hands of a trained professional will do professional repairs.
For me...I look for quality materials and design, how it feels in my hands, how simple it is to use and clean, how it performs. Delta Kits excels in all these areas. I have built my company reputation around my professionalisim, Delta Kits tooling, training and quality repairs. I also feel Delta Kits played a large part in my wining the windshield repair olympics.
What ever you decide, look past the hype and consider what is truely important as a technician in the field on a daily basis.
