Cleaning Your Mixing Cup

Post by Kgobin »

It is very important to clean your mixing cup after performing a headlight restoration. Failure to do so can cause the unused chemicals to gum up and contaminate future coatings. Below are three easy steps on how to properly clean your mixing cup and a video of the process.

Step 1: Take the shop towel that you just used to apply the coating with, and remove any leftover coating in the mixing cup.

Step 2: Take your clean2prep solution and spray the inside of the mixing cup.

Step 3:Take a new shop towel and wipe the inside of the mixing cup dry.

Why would you not just use a disposable paper cup?? No chance of contamination that way.JMHO
