Battery Packs For Sale

Post by Kgobin »

I have about 10 battery packs for sale. The battery pack allows you to use any 12v device, such as an ultraviolet light or moisture evaporator, without using the vehicle's power port. Originally $79.20 each, now $63.00

Send me a private message or call Delta Kits and mention this post if you are interested.

Hey Korey, What is the shelf life of this battery pack? How do you recharge it? How long will it hold a charge before needing to be recharged? Sorry for the twenty questions.

I got a power pack from delta in dec.....it is nice...u can place it on the hood for easy access.....used uv and drill several time and it still had plently power. Plug into a 120 it charges nicely and when green light appears it is ready...nice not having to run wire out door etc.

These battery packs are covered by a one year warranty, but we find most repair technicians are getting 2-3 years before replacement is necessary. The key to getting optimal life is to keep them plugged in to the charger/maintainer when not in use, so when you get home at night you plug it it and leave it over night. With the new charger/maintainers we use they charge more quickly and will not overcharge.

How long they hold a charge depends on a lot of variables. How long you use your light, how many repairs you do in a day, and if you use the moisture evaporator or other tools in addition to your light will have a significant effect on how long a charge will last, but generally speaking the charge will last at least a full day. If used only for the light a charge may last several days, but it's always a good idea to plug it in every night.

Any of you who are still using the old style chargers with the switch on the front should follow the original instructions or upgrade to one of the new charger/maintainers.

The reason we are selling these battery packs at a discount is due to a slight style change in the 12V receptacle. The new receptacles have a cover built in for additional protection.
