Fiji Moce Mada... I live in winter paradise...you live in ... well... paradise! Lets trade businesses and homes for a week or two sometime...? There could be a free bottle of corn huskers in it for you...

Bula from the Fiji Isles, i'd trade a bowl of traditional kava for one of those corn huskers.

If I have to move the injector for long crack repair I use vasaline
by Coitster

I have been using speed stick other than lip balm now because of the wider range of coverage, plus the coating is thin unlike vaseline.

I checked on postage from here to Fiji - about $10-12 for a pound - Corn Huskers is $4 for 8 oz. Do you need drill burrs? I pay $120 or so for 100 at the dental supply place in town. They weigh about another half pound.
Personally, if I were in Fiji, I'd go to a drugstore or chemist's and ask the pharmacist what they have in the way of any glycerin-based lotion. Glycerin's the best because it washes right off with water.
Put me up in Fiji and I'll bring you a crate of Corn Huskers - drill burrs too.

I have been paying for postage US$50.25 for freight services as what i gather from here, the risks are high that a lot postal contents do not reach its destination through your postal services.

Wilz,
Is that $50-plus for one pound of goods? Is Fiji far away?
I've talked with some guys in Australia who sell w/s repair tools and supplies, it was a while back and I don't have the info any more, but maybe you could do a search around there and save some money - not that I'm ruling out a tax-written-off business trip some day in the future.

Thats right J.T. US$50.25 per pound for freight. Fiji is located here with the South Pacific, a island nation like the many other that surrounds it. I have tried Australia and New Zealand but always got referred back to you guys in the U.S.

Sorry for re-opening this thread but I didn't want to start another one. And, I'm a little embarrased for asking this...but just how much glyde do you use to enable a bridge assembly to glide across a screen?:icon_redf I've been using the wicking method for repairing long cracks with good success. However, I decided to purchase a low cost bridge (one with a suction cup similar in size to Delta's) and try using an injector. I also bought some Corn Huskers (suggested by T.J. Windows). I applied some Corn Huskers to the screen and smeared it with a paper towel. I applied the suction cup and the bridge would barely move. I would have to apply too much pressure and risk further glass damage. Too much suction?? Not enough glyde?? Find something else??
