What size inverter do you use to run your sander/ polisher? I have a 600 watt but it can't run my sander/polisher. I was thinking of going with a Harbor Freight 1000 watt. It only cost about $100.00 or so.

I use an 800 watt coleman that has the clips on the end for battery hook up. I picked it up on ebay for $40 plus shipping.

Is that a 800 watt with a 1600 surge?

Mrchip, sorry for the delay in responding. Been busy.
The top coat that I get from Dvelup comes in a kit along with their "Yellow X" product for removing yellow. The kit runs $95 + SH. A bit expensive but I haven't been able to find anything else around my neck of the woods that will work. Unfortunately, I can't find dirty headlights to practice on as much as I can find windshields. I got 40 headlight sets done with one supply of topcoat before one can dried up.

I tell customers that the cleaning will last 6 months. And that they should re-apply a UV coating (sold at auto parts stores) every 6 months because the coating wears off. I don't recommend any brands because I don't know of any.

I would hope it lasts a lot longer or there's no point in using it.....?

The top coat will last forever as long as you apply a coat of regular car wax twice a year. That is what I was told by dvelup.

If it looks good, and will last at least a couple years with an occasional waxing, I'm definitely interested in getting some to use.
