I have a Fw2304 Mini Cooper to do tomorow and I have not done one yet. Are there any tricks or supprises? Thanks Don

Yes, be careful of the exterior A pillar moldings!!! They are made from paper thin plastic and break VERY easily if not handled carefully. They are held on by 4 (or 3?) simple push ins mounted to the underside of the molding. If I remember, when you remove them, the clips on the molding are 2 part instead of just one part like you normally see. Some may come apart when removing the molding. Do not try and force the molding onto the part that is left in the body. (will look like a little ball on the body) Remove that 2nd clip part from the body, reattach (carefully) to the underside of the molding before reattaching molding. When putting back on body, push the molding back on pushing only in the location of the clips underneath.
We had a customer come to us with their drivers A pillar molding broken (w/s never replaced) because they grabbed it when getting out of the car. Like I said, very thin!

YEP!!!!!!!!!

I had one for the first time this week & the pillars broke on me, with VERY LITTLE pressure.
