My Pro kit came with MagniBond 30001. When going to order more I noticed the ProBond 5040. What is the difference and when would one be used over the other.

The resins have different chemical compositions and the Magnibond has a nominal viscosity of 18cps and the ProBond has a nominal viscosity of 43 cps.

What applications call for the difference or is one better to use as a general rule of thumb?

Some techs prefer different viscosities because of damage type, climate, or because of something they have been told... We recommend and use Magnibond in all situations.
