I've had more people come to me with cracks than rock chips so I guess I need to start doing some. All of these cracks go to the edge of the windshield and I was wondering on which ones to tell the customer that replacement is needed .
If a crack is not very straight, like one that I saw the other day was "jagged" in the middle of a 12 incher and lets say I drill and pop a bullseye at the end of this crack, would the crooked area still be weak or possibly crack out from there when applying pressure or crack expanders?
What cracks can be fixed ?

repairing bulls eyes
If the crack is longer than a dollar bill I'm refering the customer to my replacement buddy!
My experience with cracks that bend or twist or have sharp corners...not worth my effort to repair. Have not liked the results.
