Just try doing repairs without drilling for a week or so unless you need to pop a bullseye

I Have tried it. I have done a whole passel of repairs.
I don't like having to drill thru wet resin when the break doesn't want to fill completely . The resin makes the burr slip instead of cutting.
I don't drill 100% of chips, but I do drill a high percentage of them.

I clean with a drill, I do not drill many repairs. It is also I imagine 20+ years since I had to drill into a wet repair to fill it, there is after all a better method in my opinion.

Drilling isnt my first thought when a repair isnt filling correctly so drilling into wet resin never comes into play for me. In fact, drilling into wet uncured resin seems like something I would never do. Flexing, running through more pressure and vac cycles, etc. and PATIENCE usually does the trick. If it came down to no other alternatives, I would probably cure first and then go back and drill and fill a problem area. I don't recall ever drilling into the impact point with wet uncured resin.

Can someone give me the steps for a non drilled repair for both bulleye and star chips?

Same steps as any ordinary repair minus the drill. Use scribe if needed to clean out impact point then do repair.

So I can just go straight to the bridge and insert resin? I am gonna try this out today. Thanks

How many hours or minutes ?
Why would you cure an air spot before drilling into it?
