First thanks to Korey Gobin for helping me a lot. I cant wait for my kit to arrive next week. I really like the fact that we can call and they will help us out and give us pointers. Really looking forward to this partnership. Give him a call or email and I know he will take care of you.
Ok, for everyone else. Those of you out there working it right now what pointers would you give me.
1. I'm going to do the insurance payments my self. Any pointers or problems to look out for?
2. What hours work the best? I see a lot of 11am-5:30pm. What do yall work? Is after work on the weekday busiest? What about weekends?
3. Do yall use Square for Credit Card payments? Is that the cheapest way to go?
4.) I have a 10x10 tent. What size should the banner be? Does anyone have a copy of what they use so we can copy and adjust it. Maybe something you email.
5.The BIG question: Im going to do a tent location so how do I get locations. Who do I contact? Does anyone have paperwork or something the owner who may want to see what Im going to set up.Im assuming picture of my tent and what else? I know prices change per location and city but what am I going to pay? What do yall pay? Should I do pay them per fix I do or just per month.
Thanks in advance,
Alamo Chip

Re: New Guy
Im going to fallow this thread. Ill answer what i can
2- It depends if you have fleets or general public. Those hours will work for general public. But some insurance calls can be as early as 7 am
and some fleets want you there around 8 before they get swamped with customers.
3- I use Intuit, its easier if you are using Quickbooks

Re: New Guy
We pretty much do fleets & rental car services. Thinking about some tent locations, probably car washes etc, i would talk to the operations manager of those establishments.
most fleets want you there between 5-8am before the trucks leave for the day to do whatever they do.
Do your research on who to talk to!

Re: New Guy
Square has worked great for me, they just charge a little over 2%. I think it comes to about $1.65 on a $60.00 charge and they have always deposited in my bank account the next day
