I have never been a fan of popping a bullseye doing more damage is never a good thing. That said the end of a crack is not a bad place to put one. But using the bullseye often enough that you actualy carry a tool to make one? :o Sounds like lazyiness to me? :( Never popped one except fro a crak in over 50,000 breaks

What do you do? Do you just drill into the end of the crack a little bit and fill it?

Yes, but what do you do for cracks when you do NOT put a bullseye.. Don't you fill from the tip/end sometimes? You must drill a little, then fill without popping?

I drill the end and fill back or as Screen told me awhile back I will drill a small hole just before the end fill and cure to satbalize it then do the end. Honestly screen is the Crack expert here my market is a little different than his (Much warmer so the glass is often more brittle) so im a little hesitant to pop stuff if not needed. :)

I didn't know about using a brand new razor blade each time.. I still kinda don't know if that's totally necessary. We used a cork to rub polish on the cured pit filler.. Lately that's not been working too cool lol.

What dry out techniques were you trained to use?

We had this crappy blow dryer we were supposed to use but it would hardly get warm. It's supposed to be rainy all week here so I'm going to have to dry. I have some dry out solution and I'm going to use matches on the inside.. keep them close to the chip, not away from it which could spread it out.

Please get some proper training for the sake of both yourself and our industry. Not knocking your enthusiasm but matches and dry out solution are not the way to go and warming the glass from inside is another no go when drying out.

Buy a drystar and practice on your practice glass, you do have one I hope.
