Liability insurance

Will be starting my business in Aug or Sept. I have had some insurance quotes for my liability. Just wondering what avg annual cost is? I know it differs from state to state. Any suggestions if I need extra insurance or not. also, One insurance agent suggested is s/u an LLC. i was thinking of a Sole Proprietor. i will be moblie.. Suggestions???

lots of post over the years on this subject! Insurance is cheap if you do not get garage coverage which I do not have.

Re the above it might be wise to get Liability Insurance & Garage Keepers insurance( Garage Keepers Ins covers you when driving a vehicle on a car lot) better be safe than sorry?????

We set up as an LLC officially this year, our GL policy is about $50 a month through Farmers insurance, 2,000,000/4,000,000.

RLI is pretty good reasonable rates as well
