At 53 Im a father again looks like retirement is a long way off :lol:

At 55. I just repair as a hobby. Don't really need the extra money but enjoy the experience.

Congrats GlassStarz! I became a father at 38 and a father of two at 40 so I feel your pain. I've been teaching them the trade so maybe they will throw me a bone in my late 50s early 60s.

Like!Right there with you I had one at 40 and he is 6 and thinks he can repair better then me! ;)

All joking aside. As a 77 year old fat boy having retired 12 years ago first time, now kinda, possibly, maybe thinking about considering, looking into retireing again at 80. But darn, I love this business and all my loyal customers. I don't want to let them down by retireing.

When my 6 year old granddaughter comes to stay with me, I take her with me to do repairs.
I give her a wet rag and a spray bottle and she cleans the headlights and taillights and license plates.
Its not really necessary, but she gets to "help".
