Just wanted to get off the nwra type stuff a bit...

Scratch and water spot removal, automotive or not...

I am cuious to see a show of hands of who has done any scratch removal work, and if so, how it's working for you.

I have some equipment and have had some success and some problems. I plan to brush up on it and see if I can make it profitable and successful when it confronts me. Or cut ties and sell what I have. (sell stuff? never!!!) :P

If there are guys on here who have equipment, we could have a discussion and surely learn a thing or two.

If not, then this thread will sink to the bottomless pit of Delta Kits Inc. as it should.

I do not do very much scratch removal (only light stuff). Every once in a while I will get a car that someone has scraped the ice off with a drink can. I use fingernail-buffing polish. A tip I got from grace goldstar on this forum. I bought a scratch removal kit a few years ago. Never had much luck with it. It takes excessively long and is very messy. I can fix many bullseyes in the time it was taking me to remove a wiper scratch.
