Safelite Windshields??

Is it true that windshields Safelite manufactures are aftermarket and not OEM?
Yes, Safelite windshields are considered aftermarket windshields. They are not OEM at all. As a matter of fact is been a running joke in the industry over the last 20 years that you have to be a true artist to be able to install a safelite windshield that doesn't leak.
