The replacement cost would have been $3000. We charged Penske $45.

Re: Cool Vehicles Repaired
Thanks Bill. We got to do the Ferris Beuller 1961 Ferrari GT 50, short wheelbase last week. I will post that one too. If we show consumers that we repair Bentley's, Ferraris, Maybachs, etc. then they will see that their family car is safe with us. It would also show that educated car people trust windshield repair technology with their super valuable cars. BTW, the last 1961 Ferrari GT 50, short wheelbase to sell went for over $5 Million.

Re: Cool Vehicles Repaired
Thanks Bill. We might have met in Birmingham but, I'm so old now you probably wouldn't recognize me. :/
Do you think you'll be at Auto Glass Week in Louisville, KY? There were a lot of repairers in Memphis, it was pretty cool. It would be great to meet some of the people on the forum and put a face to a name and have a beer and talk about repair.
Thanks for your comments about our repairs. You know how it is when you only do one thing, you try to figure out how to do it the best you can. Maybe I can get the NWRA site to carry some pics like these from various Repairers around the country. Just to further the education to the consumers that repair is not minor league. I will ask about it tomorrow.
