Not totally clear as to what your asking. If your inferring to no paper signed invoices given to customer, I don't see that happening anytime soon. Have to remember many older people have never owned or even been on a computer. Even if I had them sign a digital receipt on drone or other...you would still have to provide them with a paper copy! Please explain in more detail where your thought process is going.

Interesting post...

The iPhone has software which allows you to instantly email an invoice to a customers email address - great for businesses.

or...

You can get a power invertor for your car and any printer will run off it - small laptops are cheap - you can do it all form your vehicle.

My 2c

DECO up here in Canada do electronic invoicing. They even attach a graphic of the damaged spot they repaired.

Kinda cool.

After 20 yr's of hand writing invoices then going home and enter everything into the computer, It is getting old..... I have been looking at either buying a small laptop, notepad or tablet.
After seeing our Equine vet using her laptop, C/C scanner, and printer... I have had the bug... I am just trying to figure how to customize my QB's invoice to be able to do yr make model and vin. I have not figured that part out and QB's does not have a template for that... Sucks...
When that happens, I will convert to mobile invoicing to free up my double entry time and to free up my weekends...
I am just burned out of paperwork...

You can have a puter and printer in a small briefcase if needed... Love the new times... I just need to take better advantage of the new times....
