In the present economy how many are still repair only and making a decent living at it. If you are, what are you doing to stay above the economy.. have you amped up your marketing, added sales reps, vehicle wraps..looking for new, fresh ideas..

My business has picked up some since people are doing repairs instead of replacements to save money. I added headlight restoration also, although I'm not getting just a whole lot of business with it

Repair only and making a decent living. Been at it a very long time. Many, many, many loyal repeat customers and about 60% of my business is insurance work. Have stepped nearly completely away from doing low priced fleet and dealer work as it's mostly a pain in the ass that brings my average $ down. Have absolutely no interest in doing replacement work and I don't offer any additional services.

Clearquest, I find with fleet and dealer work my $ per hour is way better than retail work, whilst being slightly less per job. I seldom repair less than 3 windshields at any one call.

I agree. My first stop today averages 8-12 repairs per week.

We do repair only and do very well at it. We continue to grow our business each year. If you work hard, do quality repairs, it will work out for you. Where are you located AGSS?

I was refering to my $'s per job so luckily I don't need fleet and dealer work to complete my already full schedule.
