Hello, Middleburg. I am in Spring Hill, FL, just a little northwest of Tampa. Yes, send me your e mail address and I will send you a copy of my flyer, which looks pretty nice, if I do say so myself. It will also have a color picture of my business card. I get my business cards from Vista Print. They do very good work and offer shipping only pricing on 250 at a time.

I would start by thinking about which message i want to get across and how. So, come up with the text that needs to be on the flyer and/or businesscard. Some essentials (obviously) are logo and contact information, perhaps your hours of operation and address- when you have a shop location. Just remember that you want both these items to stand out visually, be it by use of colors, text or images. You dont want to be forgettable, and in someones wallet, stack of papers or glovebox blend in with the rest. The idea is to capture someones attention each time they look at your materials to remind them your service exists. Now, I went to a design and imaging company to desgin and print my marketing materials but I am also aware that by searching online there are plenty of companies such as Vistaprint that can do this as well. Also, i believe there is software out there, with basic graphic designing properties. If you're somewhat good with computers, I don't think it should be too hard to make your own.
