I'm thinking about getting into wiper scratch repair. an extra $95 here and there wouldn't kill me. im working with gt glass trying to piece together a basic kit, and the main thing i need to get on my own is a drill. can anyone recommend a corded drill with good form (ie right hand on trigger and drill, left hand on some kind of handle keeping it stable) and a male end chuck (think angle grinder). angle grinders rpm range is 10k-15k, whereas automotive glass scratch removal requires a much slower speed, say 1000-2500. so this is why ive been having trouble finding a good drill/grinder for this trade. what have you guys found to work?

How about something like this? http://www.deltakits.com/products/11/766/ Beats any drill I have ever tried hands down for polishing scratches out of glass.

If you are on a tight budget something like this might work for you. http://www.deltakits.com/products/11/762/ I would have to pull the chuck off to see what the spindle size is but you could also leave the chuck on and use an adapter.

Both come with handles that screw into either side, both are very powerful, both run slow enough for polishing and both are extremely well built. We're overstocked on them so we'll match any legitimate "new" price on the Internet.
