Just to clarify. Do you use the same process to polish turn signals as you do for the polycarbonate headlight lenses? I don't think the turn signal lenses are polycarbonate so I wasn't sure if the same process would work.

Same process. If they aren't as scummy as the lens, start with a higher grit like 1500 and work up.

I use to clean & polish The front & side markers, at no additional cost . I also clean & polish the fog lights and apply a UV coating. I sometimes do it for free or I will charge between $10 & $15 extra for this service. Sometimes the side markers are enclosed in the same lens as the headlights, so I dont charge extra for that. I also will use the prep spray to clean the rear lights and then I polish them. The clients seem to like this service and it makes the car look better. Iam sure there are others doing the same thing. I also run ad's or distribute a flyer offering free rear light service with the purchase of a HLR. I do the same proceedures on the markers as I do the HL and I have not had any problems. PS I stopped giving warranties on the HLR. I have some that have lasted 2 years while others last 9-12 months. I came to the realization that some lens dont last long, and I have no control over the care the owner may or may not provide to the vehicle. I've had to give away too many redo's between the 9th & 15 month time frame because of HL's starting to cloud again. I tell the new customers the lens should last 12 months or more and should they need my services in the future call me.
