Corn syrup?

Heard about some roadside traveling goon that was supposedly injecting chips with clear corn syrup. Anyone heard of such a devios thing?

Now your really showing your age! Your right though. many used car dealers back then used those methods. If the glass was warm enough the oil would wick into the damage and disguise it for awhile. Guaranteed until the papers are signed and the car is out of sight of the car lot.
