Yard Signs or Campaign Signs any idea??

Campaign signs are cheap and made for outdoor I was thinking of getting 100 made up and putting them on telephone polls to see if I can't get some calls, I have seen them for work at home and what made me really want them every year the Tattoo expo puts up thousands of them.

I was wondering about laws against it? I asked a cop and he did not know anything about them he actually said they do it for yard sale but if it falls we can give them littering tickets.
Also have you guys tried them? Did it get a response?

Thanks guys

Go to your city and county websites and search for laws. It usually varies from city to city. My area does not permit anything on telephone poles and signs must be at least 150 ft. from intersections.

Good looking signs, Full color is always the way to go.

I know in the Salt Lake area that they don't so much go after you for the sign rather when the sign is no longer fixed in a single location then they get you for littering. But I can't find any info in the Provo area. but thank you for the response.

But has any one ever tried the yard campaign sign???

I have not tried the yard signs, but I think it is an inexpensive way to advertise and may just work. The bodyshop next door to our place just put up a couple of sandwich boards advertising windshield replacement on the sidewalk and right away people started walking in our door thinking the signs belonged to us. I think yard signs could do the same thing for a mobile business if you place them in high visibility places. I hope someone who has tried it will chime in.

If you do place signs, be sure to call the city first and make sure you are doing it legally.

we call them "bandit" signs because they are not legal, in most cities you will not go to jail they will just rip them down and throw them away, some cities will warn you others will fine you. EVERYBODY does it, that point does not make it legal but worth trying. dont put it out in the best/fancey neighborhood you can find, put it in the business area/high car count. People driving out of their $800k homes will call and complain. check out 100signs.com I think or google it. they have a real good price

If it's not legal, don't do it.
