I would seriously caution you about entering this business as an independant installer with only a course under your belt. The course will give you a broad generalization of what windshield replacement is all about, but you will need afew years of actual working experience to get the full picture.

If you are already a windshield repair business I would recommend hiring someone to do the replacements.

I wouldn't waste your time and money on certification. It will not do anything to help your business.

AGN .Thank you for your feed back regarding hiring somebody for replacements. If I hired somebody please advise me the pay scale??? do I pay him a basic pay plus commission??, do I have to supply him with any tools ?? This winter has been very tough for me regarding the repair side I have turned a lot of people away on windshield replacement, and that side of the buisness could be coming into my own pocket,ie windshield replacement .I am set up with the networks and the local Insurance companys here in MASS .
