Just a quick question .....

I realize that pdr can work rather well on bady panels.

However, someone recently backed into my painted bumper on my little chevy S10 pickup truck. Is pdr viable on the heavier metal of a bumper, or am I best off pulling the bumper, pounding out the dent, repairing and repainting as per regular bodywork?

Personaly I stay away from heavy bumpers. However I have heard of a few guys trying to attempt them.

Thanks Dave.

Since it isn't too difficualt a task to pull the bumper, I might as well fix it "old" school style.

Wasn't it Robert Duval, that had that famous quote in Apocalypse Now, "I love the smell of grinded metal and bondo in the morning?";)

Dave I recently tried doing the front bumper on my Isuzu p/u and gave up after 2 hours of pushing and pulling. i agree with the rest of the group, it is easier to do it the old fashioned way
