I do not repair without gloves on my hands! Fingernails don't work for me but I don't have a problem with the scorpion holder coming loose.

You misunderstood me. I don't use fingernails either, just light pressure against the side of the rubber pad. Delta B150 and B250 bridges, Scorpion and Ignite Mount all can be removed the same way even with gloves on, or at least that is the way I do it.

Brent,
I ask this on the forum as general info for everyone. How far should the light be above the windshield? Should the light touch the glass (smaller curing area but close to the light) or about an inch above the glass (larger curing area but obviously farther away)? Also, have you run test to see what your meter (UV wavelength) reads at different distances?

We have experimented quite a bit with different distances and even at a couple of inches away you can still get a good cure in just a few minutes with a fresh battery but the closer you get to the glass the faster the cure time, just as with any other UV light. We don't recommend touching the glass simply because you don't want to get resin on it.

Dear All members of the forum. I bought new curing torch from Deltakits in January, due to some delays in getting across to my country Sri Lanka.
The new torch came to me only last month. It is working fine curing time also reduced to 2 minutes.
I can recommend this light for all WSR's to use.
Sylvester.
