I think Clearquest may have totally misread my post, I was after all defending him. I was pointing out that his numbers were totally realistic and to be admired. Oh well! just shows how the written word can be taken in many ways.

I personally did not read anything negative that Screenman wrote. He was correcting another poster about doing 30 repairs a day.....

I for one use to work in the summer from 5 or 6 am till 8pm 6 to 7 days a week.... Now I work 8am to when ever I want, it could be 1pm or 4 pm... and make the same as I made back in the 12 to 14 hrs days. I work as hard as I want to....

Now back on track.
I have found that Honda's are thinner W/S's as to some.... I like flexing the glass before I even set up on the shield to get a view of what to expect... On thin shields, I apply lighter pressure with the injector also.

Just remember these windshields on the newer autos are thinner than in the old days in the 80's & 90's... Just stay on your toes and do not rush your work just because it is the end of the day and the last job.... The beer will wait for you... {joke for the ones that do not drink beer}

Cracks me up how a post can go south in a New York minute. Thinking some should consider a vacation. ADHD wasn't considered when I was a child, but I sometimes think I would have been diagnosed with that if ever evlauated as a child. When "momma" calls me near the end of the day and says supper is gonna be ready in 30, I can smell the fajitas and go into get er done mode. In all seriousness I do need to slow down some and like Screenman says study the breaks and make a plan of attack. All good advice from everyone on this. This forum is a great tool to keep each of us on track. I will always keep learning to get better at my craft to be the best I can be. Thanks Guys!!!

"not that many" is meant to imply 'a pefectly mangable and believable amount' I believe,
and combining a sales person, with a glass tech would get you a better all round businessman...

But, you seem to lack clear communication skills, so just stick to being a 'tech'!.

Sorry, I can see how you read that piece. In my jump to defend you I could have written it better. 5 a day at the correct price is a nice way to do business, even more so if they are at 1 fleet customer, which is my preferred method.

Yeah that's it pal, I lack communications skills! LOL
