I called SL the other day as I had a bees-wing, and they wanted $120 to come to my location.
I ended up going to a popular windshield repair shack that charged like $40 cash price, and
I used my insurance option, and I ended up paying $0 out of pocket...so if SL accepted my
insurance, then they would have only gotten $50 or about, and had to eat the rest? so $120 would
be their cash price, because if they did not accept insurance, then most likely they would be out of business.

What does your recent post have anything to do with the original thread? Re-read the thread again. Who cares what Safelite gets for cash repairs...just focus on what you can get. Oh and one other thing. If your getting into this business, why would you allow somebody else to repair your shield? Please explain.

This thread has evolved from the subject of an inferior resins to an all out Safelite bashing. It appears DavidS is right on target with his post.
