I spent about 6 months at a car wash as an independent contractor when I first started about 6 years ago. We split the daily proceeds and since I didn't have a family to feed I survived while I gained skill, experience. and customers. It also was a great opportunity to develop my sales presentation being in front of so many customers on a daily basis.
